Small‑batch craft production. The time counts from your order. While Alentejo rests, its round, wide awake and wise eyes keep watch. At Olaria XT they decided to pay tribute to it. Xico Tarefa has known the secrets of clay and the wheel that made this plate for more than half a century, and on it his wife Zeza painted the owl.

Owl Plate
Wisdom learned with the hands
Some knowledge does not come from books. It is learned from masters, refined with practice and becomes art over the years. Xico Tarefa began working clay at the age of 13 and, since then, has made pottery his craft and his experience a knowledge of generations.
On this plate, the owl seems to keep him company. Shaped on the wheel by Xico's hands and decorated with Zeza's painting, the piece brings together two skills: that of the one who knows the material and gives it shape, and that of the one who brings it to life with colour.
Large and versatile, it can bring the flavours of Alentejo to the table or find a place on a wall, where the owl will keep reminding us that true wisdom is also built with time and dedication.
A piece that celebrates the knowledge of those who turn clay into tradition.
