Clay Tureen
A clay tureen with sunflowers, for the soups of always.
Clay Tureen
Serving the art and flavours of Alentejo
In Alentejo, soups are much more than a starter. They are recipes of memory, made with bread, olive oil, aromatic herbs and produce of the land, passed down from generation to generation. And they call for pieces worthy of the tradition.
At Olaria XT, Xico Tarefa shapes the clay on the wheel, drawing on knowledge he began to learn at the age of 13 and keeps refining decades later. The tureen is born from that gesture, between experience and mastery of the material. Then Zeza, his wife, adds colour and personality with hand-painted sunflowers.
Some flavours become even richer when they reach the table in a piece that also tells a story: a tureen for serving timeless recipes and keeping alive, at the table, the art of living and feeling Alentejo.

Lift the lid. Alentejo is served.
