Small‑batch craft production. The time counts from your order. In Alentejo, olives arrive at the table almost without our noticing. They go with a conversation, whet the appetite and call for bread to soak up the olive oil left on the plate. At Olaria XT, even they get a place in a clay piece: Xico Tarefa shapes the olive dish on the wheel and his wife Zeza paints olives that look ready to serve.

Olive Dish
For the olives that arrive at the table almost without our noticing.
Olive Dish
Olives and bread dipped in oil
Some products are part of the landscape and the table of Alentejo. The olive is one of them, linked to the ancient presence of the olive tree in the region and to a culture in which olive oil holds a central place.
On this olive dish, the decoration extends that connection. The olives painted by Zeza evoke the fruit that so often accompanies meals, while the shape comes from the work of Xico Tarefa, a master potter who began working clay at the age of 13 and keeps giving form to the tradition of Redondo.
Made for serving olives, the piece can also find a place in your decor, bringing a little of the Alentejo identity to the table. Because sometimes it is the simplest objects that best tell the story of a land.
An olive dish that brings together clay, painting and one of the best known flavours of Alentejo. And of Portugal.

Olives, bread and conversation. Nothing more is needed.
