Rare Combination: Alentejo Tea Time

In Redondo, the artisan Zézinha still paints Alentejo furniture the way she learned from her master four decades ago: she draws the centre of each flower with her finger and then completes the composition with brushes. This Rare Combination brings together a black tea tray with flowers and foliage and a box of six blue coasters with hand painted flowers. An afternoon tea, a coffee served to a guest, a conversation that runs on: Alentejo painting comes to the table.
