Jacky Cavallari is the master marqueter and ebonist who uses wood as his colour palette, creating detailed compositions through the hand-fitting of thin wood veneers, blending the rigour of the École Boulle with inspiration drawn from flora and fauna.

The Enfia o Barrete collective has no intention of fooling anyone. It is dedicated to preserving Madeira's ear cap and to valuing the sheep's wool and natural fibres of the island, so that this beautiful tradition does not fall asleep.
