The winter scarf that wraps us in warmth.

She hadn't even noticed the days passing, but outside the oranges and browns of autumn had already given way to dark browns, even greys. The sky was thick with dark, heavy clouds. She felt the cold. That winter cold which, even so, carries within it a quiet beauty, made of contrasts, soft light, and colours that invite comfort. Like her scarf.
Alice Aranha's scarves turn every thread into comfort. Hand-woven, with natural yarns dyed by her own hand in colours drawn from nature, each piece is unique. Sometimes in melancholy, yet beautiful, winter tones.
In this scarf, made with Portuguese wool, cotton, and hand-spun wool yarns, the colours are dyed with pomegranate skin and red onion, loquat leaf, dyer's madder, and logwood. Layer upon layer, stitch upon stitch, every detail of this scarf holds the warmth that winter takes away.

Through her art of weaving and natural dyeing, Alice Aranha turns every scarf into a gesture of comfort. One that invites us to feel warmth, and to feel.
