Porta da Loja Apple Pack

In Tibães, in the Minho, the Casais family has been recovering and preserving the Porta da Loja apple, an old variety tied to the history of the Tibães Monastery and to the rural memory of the region. Its name comes from where it was kept: the loja, the storeroom every house had just behind the front door. In this pack the same apple arrives in four ways: in a craft gin with juniper, coriander, angelica, lemon, orange, cardamom and liquorice; in a craft cider with a tart touch that comes from the apple itself; in small dried pieces across a bar of dark chocolate; and in an extra jam to spread on bread or cheese.
