Lavender is the scent of pause, of softness. In the kitchen, it adds a floral touch to teas, sweets or savoury dishes. In wellbeing, it purifies. It helps reconnect body and mind. It brings serenity back.

Jacky Cavallari trained at the École Boulle and is today one of the few living masters of marquetry - the art that gives wood its colour, texture and life. With a precision that time does not rush.

For this ash box, the artisan chose natural woods such as limba, blue-dyed rippled maple, and clean guava wood, and with them composed the lavender. Layer upon layer, using the same traditional marquetry technique employed in the 18th century.

A box to remind us of the value of strength and perseverance.
