Banana Fibre Pack

Story of the piece

Banana Fibre Pack

Each banana plant fruits only once. After that the stem would be waste, but on São Miguel, in the Azores, MUSAZ turns it into fibre and the fibre into basketry. This pack brings together the round braided basket and a crochet coaster: one material, two gestures, a home with a bit of island in it.

What's in the pack

  • Round Plaided Basket (small)
  • Crochet Coaster

10% less than buying the pieces separately. All from the same maker, shipped in a single order.

Handmade by MUSAZ. Every piece is unique and may vary slightly from the photos.
