A delicious smoking novelty that is hard to come by.
In Portugal, we show love through Traditional Foods.
That’s one of the things Deolinda learned from her mother Aurora, before learning her recipes for the delicatessens and her recipe for the business, based in Ponte de Lima (Minho, Portugal). She also inherited her strength and perseverance. As the years went by, Deolinda made Quinta dos Fumeiros her own and added a new tradition to the family and the region’s heritage: innovation. Isn’t that the only way of founding new traditions?
That’s why this is where we discovered the Smoked Pork Belly (barriga de porco fumada), a novelty that’s hard to come by - we’re used to smoking other parts of the pig, but not this one.
Familiar and fancy.
There had to be a reason for why we spend so much time at the table.
