Ana Sincu’s hands are callused but happy. She’s a master woodcarver and handles wood with exclusively manual tools - chisels, gouges, knives, bench lathes, sandpaper. She likes to pick them one by one. Takes her time. It’s called slow working. Maybe we should take the hint.

That’s why Ana created this Hairpin, made by hand with no rush, for you to feel the natural and smooth grip of soft wood on your hair. Because routines don’t have to be stressful. Sometimes they can just be quiet luxuries.
This may be uncommon but here, in Ana’s workshop in Caldas da Rainha (Estremadura, Portugal), every tree is an object of respect. So is your experience.
