Wood reveals what time cannot erase.

Juniper is at once an ingredient of celebration and an element of care.

Essential to gin, it carries that fresh, almost sharp aroma that awakens the senses. In cooking, it is used to bring balance. In game dishes, it cuts through richness and cleanses the palate.

But juniper doesn't leave once the party ends. It stays - digestive, purifying, almost restorative.

Jacky Cavallari trained at the École Boulle and is today one of the few living masters of marquetry - the art that gives wood its colour, texture and life. With a precision that time does not rush.

For this West African albizia panel, the artisan chose four woods, such as purple-dyed rippled maple, maple, and clean guava wood, and with them composed the juniper berries. Layer upon layer, using the same traditional marquetry technique employed in the 18th century.

A panel to remind us of the value of harmony and balance.
