With elegant agility, it flies through open fields and woodlands, displaying its vivid plumage as it precisely chases down insects. This is what nature teaches us, to treasure the small moments that pass quickly, but that we never forget.

Jacky Cavallari trained at the École Boulle and is today one of the few living masters of marquetry, the art that gives wood its colour, texture and life. With a precision that time does not rush.

For this ash box, the artisan chose natural woods such as maple, mahogany, ebony and tulipwood dyed blue, and with them composed the bee-eater. Layer upon layer, using the same traditional marquetry technique employed in the 18th century.

A box in which to preserve the memory of good moments.
