The art of keeping what is precious to us is an old one, as old as marquetry itself. Jacky Cavallari trained at the École Boulle and is today one of the few living masters of this art, which gives wood its colour, texture and life. With a precision that time does not rush.

For this chestnut box, the artisan chose thirty-one woods, such as pond oak, light guava wood, and green-dyed tulipwood, and with them composed the hummingbird.
