Alice Aranha

Alice Aranha is the artistic name of Alice Albergaria Borges, a crochet jeweller who discovered her passion for textures as a child, learning to work with textiles at a very early age. Later, she attended the prestigious António Arroio School in Lisbon and graduated in Textile Design from Chelsea College of Arts in London.

Today, she specializes in textile crafts, using fibers such as wool, silk, linen, and cotton, which she dyes herself with natural ingredients. Her work is delicate and tactile, with signature pieces that represent the botanical world in the form of fabric lines.

Alice's workshop, located in Caldas da Rainha, it vibrates with purpose and serenity. It is a place where ancient techniques are rescued through a contemporary vision, stitch by stitch. Alice loves to share this knowledge with the community through hands-on workshops.
