The troupial arrives like a streak of colour in the air. Burning orange against black, as if the sun had learned to sing. With its whitish-blue mask around the eyes, it rules over a world where beauty is strength, and song is territory.

Jacky Cavallari trained at the École Boulle and is today one of the few living masters of marquetry - the art that gives wood its colour, texture and life. With a precision that time does not rush.

For this walnut box, the artisan chose twenty-three natural woods, such as maple, mahogany, ebony and orange-dyed tulipwood, and with them composed the troupial. Layer upon layer.
