Over the years, Deolinda made Quinta dos Fumeiros her home, and there she developed the family's and the region's traditions.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIt was here that we came across her Folar, and the experience was surprising.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eA symbol of Portuguese gastronomy, especially associated with Easter celebrations, folar has its own ingredients and methods, evoking local memories and customs.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAt Quinta dos Fumeiros, Deolinda wanted to honour and elevate the tradition. She carefully selected the ingredients for the folar's light, soft brioche dough, and added to it the smoked sausages produced on the farm itself. The result is more than the sum of its parts: the fat, the smoke and the pieces of sausage merge with the soft dough in a combination that exists only here, on this farm.
